so how come some peeps totally bunked out on me for helping during the inky fundraiser? i am very disappointed. guess i expect too much from some peoples.

tim burton is the man!! go see "planet of the apes" when you get a chance, if you haven't already. any doubts of the film i might have had going in were erased immediately. burton sure adds a unique touch that most filmmakers just can't hang with. much props!

i am off to see burton's take on "planet of the apes." i really hope its not disappointing. burton is one of my favorite filmmakers, and i have confidence that the film will be well constructed. my fingers are crossed.

its amazing how interesting pieces of work can come out of bouts with turmoil. i am working on a new set of poetry entitled "closed sundays" inspired by months of disappointment, discouragement and dwindling faith. look for it on this site soon. self worth is truly a fragile toy. side shout: allegra, i hope you feel better and that recovery time is short.

madonna rocked madison square garden tonight. she actually played guitar... that was the highlight of my night. otherwise, it was a pretty decent, well-rounded show. everything i expected from her. this was my first madonna concert. now if i can only see michael. i have seen prince about a million times already... and he is hands down the best live performer - ever!!

looks like blogger's templates feature is messed up. i cannot seem to edit my template which features a new set of photos (pals 4) that are not showing up. whats up with that?

the latest kevin smith installment in the "new jersey chronicles," further demonstrates the genius of the director/writer. i cannot recommend this film as a stand-alone film however. again rent the aforementioned previous works and then see the movie. this movie was meant for kevin smith's fans and i cannot see people outside of that circle realistically enjoying that film. it was great and i look forward to the released cut. you go kevin!

today i am attending a screening of "jay & silent bob strike back" - part five of kevin smith's genius, "new jersey chronicles." stay tuned for a review of what appears to be yet another instant classic. if you guys have not seen any kevin smith flicks (clerks | mallrats | chasing amy | or dogma) ... what the hell are you waiting for? go out and rent them now!!

despite the ugly ny mets loss, an afternoon off at shea stadium today was just what the quack ordered. attending baseball games have always been quite theraputic for me and beyond relaxing. a lot of introspection goes down between the first pitch and last out, and the innocence of the sport takes you over and for just a couple hours... you feel free. like a child. that, my friends, is the definition of beauty.

aren't nectarines wonderful? the summer fruit of choice for kriheli is not only satisfies the insides, but also the spirit... as fall gently creeps closer.

the constant perfectionist in me is looking at this site and is not only frustrated, but disgusted. which means another redesign is on the way. if i have any audience reading these blogs, and you think i should reconsider... please email me and convince me otherwise.

mike patton has done it again! his newest release "directors cut" with one of his many band-projects, fantomas, is absolutely astounding. get this album if you are into good experimental music. get this album even if you are not. well.. what are you waiting for?

mya gets the nod to sing the national anthem at baseball's all-star game. thank heaven. kriheli loves mya!

kriheli has this sudden late night craving for dunkin donuts... dotcha hate it when this happens? have to go out and get some now. blah. what do they put in these donuts that once a month, a serious uncontrollable craving kicks in? or is it just me?

what a disappointing first half for the new york mets. i am embarrassed to be a fan. you know, this george forman grill that chinh got me a couple years ago totally kicks ass. thanks, girl. i don't thank you enough. hey... also on tuesday, the inky fundraiser is officially closed. so what are you waiting for? grab up the final items here! don't delay!

nine months, today since i last had had a full time job. nine months. in this time period i could have fathered a baby. or at least have completed a novel. sheesh. come on, employers, what are you afraid of? take a cold, hard look at kriheli. i am the missing element. i am.
