despite the ugly ny mets loss, an afternoon off at shea stadium today was just what the quack ordered. attending baseball games have always been quite theraputic for me and beyond relaxing. a lot of introspection goes down between the first pitch and last out, and the innocence of the sport takes you over and for just a couple hours... you feel free. like a child. that, my friends, is the definition of beauty.
